As well as the old ballard bowl.I just miss that hole in the ground. It may have not been the best park but I used to skate there and miss it. That is all.

Why cry over spilled milk? Sucks and all but there's way better new parks out there. You should stop by the newly opened Duvall park if you want to skate some pseudo pool. It rips!

Nice....I love the backyard kidney pool. I know....we are so lucky to live by so many parks....but I tend to love the shitty ones. I suppose its the fact I grew up a skating street on the east coast.

I know its away, But you should check ouththe new skate park they built in kent. Corner off 116th and 240th. It freakin amazing. Friend of mine told me it puts CrossRoads to shame. Maybe I will stop by there some time this week on my way home and snap some pics.

I have to admit I'm embarassed that I have not skated the pool yet and I only live maybe a mile from there. The area looks a lot smaller from the road. Will ahve to get up there and check it out. The Carnation pool scares me so maybe this will help get me back in the pool groove. Tom, be glad you didn't get any of that masonite from my work. It soaked up water like a sponge. So, I may have to pony up for skatelite or something "cheaper" since I'm pulling the cheap stuff like twice a year.

I drive by the new Kent park every day (my office where I "work" is near there).

It's not quite ready to open up officially as they are still putting up the permanent fencing, bathroom, and other finishing touches. On nice evenings, there are a number of kids using it after the workers have left for the day so there must be gaps in the temporary fencing.

Here's the official description from Kent Parks Dept"
East Hill Skate Park
Kent's newest skate park will offer many more amenities to the public! The park is under phased construction at the southwest corner of SE 240th Street and 116th Avenue SE on the east hill of Kent. The park is a 3 acre site, which includes a one acre land donation from the neighboring Arbor Village retirement community. The park design features skate/BMX flow and street areas, a climbing pinnacle, climbing boulder, children's climbing area, picnic shelter/restroom facility, raised gardens, public art, trails, open grass area, and parking.
